How Teachers Can Get Emona.ai Approved and Funded
for Use in Their Classroom

Emona, a tool that creates social stories with AI, can be fully funded through existing school resources. Schools can cover Emona subscription using Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) funds, Special Education (SPED) or Individualized Education Program (IEP) budgets, Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) or Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) reimbursements, and district instructional materials funding.

Below are a few options that help teachers easily get Emona approved or reimbursed at school.

Option 1 — Request Admin Approval

This is a quick option for SPED teachers, school counselors, and general educators.

Option 2 — PTA / PTO Reimbursement

PTAs commonly reimburse $50–$300 per teacher per year for classroom tools. Emona qualifies under SEL and SPED instructional support.

  • Subscribe to Emona Premium using your own credit card here
  • Once subscribed the Emona Reimbursement Form including all receipts will be available on My Account page.
  • Submit it to your PTA/PTO.
  • Receive reimbursement by check or electronic transfer.

Option 3 — District Invoice

This option is best when your school or district pays for tools directly and is commonly used by SPED teams, SEL coordinators, school psychologists, principals, or district procurement staff. Teachers can also submit the request if their administrator has instructed them to request an invoice.
