Yes. Emona was designed with a privacy-first approach. All user data is encrypted and securely stored. We do not share data with third parties or use it for unintended purposes. Emona is fully Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)-compliant, and built to protect the privacy of children under 13. Our platform supports emotional skill-building in line with California’s Transformative Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) framework and the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL)’s five core competencies: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.

Yes, with care and supervision, Emona can be used to create simple, respectful introductory stories about bodies, changes, or relationships—but it's best done by an adult who understands the learner’s needs and is mindful of content boundaries. To ensure privacy and safety, such stories can only be created under the Premium plan and cannot be shared to the public story library.

Yes. All your created social stories are saved under “My Stories”, where you can access and revisit them anytime.

Yes. All plans support sharing of social stories. Simply click the share icon to send stories via text, email, or other messaging apps.

Only the Premium and the Group plan allow you to print your social stories. They are available as a PDF, making it easy to print and use offline.

Absolutely! Emona can display stories in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Japanese, and Mandarin Chinese. If there's another language you'd like to see supported, simply contact us.
