Building on the momentum from December 2025, when we announced in our inaugural newsletter the ability to export social stories to Google Slides, we’re excited to introduce even more flexibility and control.
Paid users now can:
- Edit text on each social story page
- Regenerate images for individual social story pages
- Export stories directly to Google Slides, making them easy to share, present, and collaborate on in classrooms or therapy settings. This also gives you the flexibility to edit and refine the story text as needed.
These updates give you greater creative control while preserving the structure, quality, and intent that make social stories effective.
Why Do We Do That?
Emona uses a purpose-built AI model that generates social stories following Carol Gray’s formula.
For those that are not familiar, Carol Gray, a renowned educator, developed social stories to provide a respectful and supportive way to help neurodivergent individuals better understand social situations.
As a founder and creator, she recognized that for social stories to be effective, they must be written with empathy, humility, and a focus on understanding—not as rigid rules or lists of “dos and don’ts.”
This is why it does not matter much who is writing the social story, but rather how a social story is written and what is the intent.
So, Emona was built to generate social stories with AI that are accurate, trusted, and safe.
And this is why Emona is adopted and widely used by speech therapists, CABA professionals, special education teachers, and parents.
We received feedback from users that at times, they want to make small adjustments to the copy.
And on our end we’ve noticed that while AI is a powerful and transformative technology, on occasions it can make mistakes in the image.
With the ability to edit the copy and regenerate the image, you now have a much better control over the integrity, quality, and intent of the social story.
